Residing in Bozeman, Montana, Ten foot Tall and 80 Proof is a four-piece ensemble blending rock-a-billy, honky tonk, bluegrass, blues and rock into their own flavor of country music. Their energetic shows have inspired the term "Hillbilly Riot Music" from club owners, gained them a dedicated local country music and country dance following, and earned them opening slots for bands like The Gourds, Mickey and the Motorcars and Corb Lund.
10/80 recently completed their first studio album titled "Princess of Doom". With 12 tracks, the CD represents the various backgrounds of the band and will take the listener on a journey from old time traditional music with full vocal harmonies, to more edgy telecaster driven honky tonk, to Ten Foot's cutting edge version of country music.
Ten Foot Tall and 80 Proof is lead by Kris Clone on the upright bass and lead vocals, supported by Josh Heins on lead guitar and harmony vocals, Preston White on the keyboard and backing vocals, and Aaron Rassmussen on drums, percussion and vocals.
